A Friendly liquor store in Portland.

Usually when I say I have a wheat allergy the person shove me toward the omission - which is gluten free but not wheat free... I highly appreciated that I didn't have to do this nonsense here. He also showed me a selection of ciders that aren't knock you on your ass sweet. Awesome all around - best liquor store I have been to as far as staff

I. Love. This. Place! Got to spend my bday in Thanksgiving I'm JNU and this was the only place open. They made it special. The guy at the register even bought my birthday candles.

Scott is EXTREMELY knowledgeable about spirits, scotch in particular. Their selection is great and if you give them some ideas of what you like they will hook you up with the right bottle. I can buy something high end, or find a bargain priced bottle of hooch at this store. Their tobacco prices are lower than most places as well.

Best selection in downtown Portland. Product ranges from high end to bottom shelf, all priced at very reasonable levels. Incredible selection of scotches and whiskeys. The staff is great, being extremely helpful without being pretentious. If you are visiting from Washington and are looking to fill your liquor cabinet, THIS IS YOUR PLACE!

When I swung in there yesterday the sign said they had 210 unique single malt scotches; an incredible selection for a state run operation! I have no idea how their selection is on anything else, but for single malts, this is the only place in town to go. I also find the staff friendly and helpful.
